Free legal help for people on the Central Coast

Central Coast Community Legal Centre

We are a not-for-profit community based service which seeks to provide free and accessible legal services to community groups and individuals who live, work or study or on the Central Coast of New South Wales. We are one of almost 200 such services operating throughout Australia. Our Centre works in collaboration with other Community Legal Centres, Legal Aid NSW, community organisations and private solicitors. The Centre is part of a National Association of Community Legal Centres committed to social justice and defending human rights. Community Legal Centres are funded by a variety of funding bodies including the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department, Legal Aid Commission, NSW Public Purpose Fund, Legal Aid NSW, The Office for Women’s Policy and the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Save Central Coast CLC from funding cuts

The Central Coast Community Legal Centre may lose more than $120 000 in funding in 2017. This is due to the Federal Government cutting the national funding of community legal centres by 30% in 2017. For more information, go to the  Community Law Australia website.
