About us
The Aboriginal Youth and Community Navigator is a community led response in collaboration with the Barang Regional Alliance and The Department of Communities and Justice.
The aim is to reduce the involvement of Aboriginal young people in the justice system, reduce reoffending and reduce domestic violence. The program design supports the Closing the Gap target 11, that young people are not overrepresented in the justice system and families and households are safe.
